Located in Blairgowrie, and also within a forty-five minute car journey from here, are an abundance of leisure pools and beaches. Choose from our own swimming facilities in the town or experience the  flumes, wild water channels and poolside whirlpools of Perth and Dundee. If you prefer the open air the East Coast is practically on our doorstep where there are also excellent and clean beaches to be enjoyed.

Just up in Gray Street is a fantastic traditional Italian Ice Cream Parlour Visocchis an absolute must to round off the day.


Lunan Bay
Off the A92 about 14 miles north of Arbroath and about 3 miles south of Montrose
One of the best beaches in the area, a huge expanse of sand backed by high dunes, absolute heaven for children.


St Andrews Beaches

The West Sands is the largest and best known of the beaches in St Andrews. It's a flat 2-mile long beach. It famously featured in the opening sequence of the Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire.
The Castle Sands is the smallest of St Andrews' beaches. It is reached by a steep footpath; there is an old
salt-water swimming pool.
The East Sands is to be found further around the coast, just past the harbour. This mile long beach is popular with both locals and tourists.

By road from Leuchars or Tayport - on A92, follow signs for Kinshaldy beach. By foot from Tayport into northern end of forest
Open, mature pine forest next to a vast expanse of sandy beaches and the Tentsmuir Point National Nature Reserve.
Small area with wooden adventure course for children
Toilets, picnic area and usually small shop selling refreshments but advise to take every thing you might need for a day out.
