In Blairgowrie & East Perthshire and the area surrounding it are many lovely walks, which would suit walkers of all abilities. You can find information for these on the following websites;

However, a brief introduction of what we have, are as follows:
Walking
The Cateran Trail which is a circular walk of 64 miles. This takes in Blairgowrie, Bridge of Cally, Kirkmichael, Enochdhu, Glenshee, Glenisla, Alyth and back to Blairgowrie.

“Just a quick note to say how well signposted the Cateran Trail was - we walked it last week. It is a credit to the landowners and groups who have worked together to open the route. It was easy to follow - we hardly needed to refer to maps.” - Mr J Taylor, Brookhouse, lancaster.

Blairgowrie: 6 sign posted walks of various distances from 3 miles to 8 miles.
Alyth: A historical walk round the town and a walk through the Den O’ Alyth.
Coupar Angus: A delightful river walk which is not sign posted. Beyond Coupar Angus are the Sidlaw Hills which overlook the River Tay and Dundee.
Meigle: A walk around Belmont Estate and a visit to the Pictish Museum.
Bridge of Cally: Walks in Blackcraig Woods which are owned by Forestry Commission (Scotland)
Glenshee: Climb 7 munroes as well as some easier walks.
Dunkeld: An abundance of short, medium and long walks are available. Most are signposted.
Pitlochry: As above, plus bag the Corbett of Ben Vrackie.
Aberfeldy: Again as above, plus a delightful walk through the Birks O’ Aberfeldy.

This is a quick resume of what is on offer. For an in depth tour, see the pages below.
