We have 2 single-storey cottages (Old Steading and New Steading), both sleeping 4 people, which were completely refurbished in 2007 to the highest standards. Dalnoid is set in 6 acres of grounds and there are numerous walks, Munros and Corbetts, as well as the Cateran Trail on our doorstep. Both cottages comprise a spacious king size double room with en-suite shower-room, twin room, family bathroom and a large living area with modern kitchen, lounge and dining area with a wood burning stove. Each cottage is tastefully decorated throughout to a high standard and has a host of modern facilities including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, TV, DVD player, CD and MP3 player. From the lounge you can step out through the patio doors onto a large raised deck and enjoy breakfast as the sun rises over Mount Blair or an evening drink and barbecue taking in the stunning scenery. The cottages have their own enclosed gardens, with access to over 6 acres of grounds. Both New and Old Steading Cottages are heated by Ground Source Heat Pumps providing all year round underfloor heating and hot water, as well as a wood burning stove for those colder or more romantic evenings. All fuel, linen and towels are included in your holiday cost. Dalnoid Holiday Cottages are committed to providing a high quality, enjoyable and sustainable holiday for our guests. Salmon and Brown Trout Fishing, Stalking, Shooting, Multi-Activities and Guided Walks can be arranged for guests on nearby estates.
