Blairgowrie and Rattray have 2 play parks, one in each town.
Lochy Park in Lochy Street off Perth Road in Blairgowrie is a fenced grass area with swings, chutes and climbing frame and large sand play area.

Davie Park, Ashgrove Road off Boat Brae in Rattray has 2 small fenced areas each one has swings etc appropriate to age. Davie Park also has a small pond and extensive playing fields. Both parks are popular with local mums.

Craigtoun has a great deal to offers visitors of all ages. Younger visitors will enjoy the adventure playground, miniature railway, trampolines and bouncy castle, while older visitors will appreciate the formal gardens, glasshouses and bowling green. And everyone can enjoy picnicking, boating, putting, crazy golf, pets' corner and the aviaries. The park also has a Countryside Centre run by the Ranger Service, where visitors can learn more about the wildlife and fauna of the park and surrounding area.

The crowning place of Scottish Kings. As well as the Palace there is the lawns, home to free-roaming peacocks, the unique Murray Star Maze, designed by international maze designer, Adrian Fisher, and the children's adventure play area. Picnic area, coffee shop and restaurant. There are also donkeys, sheep and Highland Cattle in adjacent fields and a wild garden and Pinetum. A children's I SPY leaflet, which includes a free pencil, is also available priced at £1.50.
